I'm honestly not truly enjoying Eastern. I feel like I just came here because it was my only last option at a true college experience. The campus is pretty dead on weekends because most students go home. I usually just go home on the weekends. Even though some say there are things to do over the weekends, there really isn't much to do at all.

Read MoreI love being at Eastern. The campus is really nice and the people are really friendly. It's easy to make friends, especially in the freshman dorms. I sat in the common room of my dorm last year and became great friends with the other girls on my floor. It was great.
Read MoreI'm a Willimantic native, so if anyone tells you that the natives are scary, they're probably stuck-up suburbanites who are too good to live in a city. Willimantic has some great stuff going on -Streetfest, live music, plenty of stores-, and the WRTD bus takes you to Storrs for free if you're a student (It's either free or subsidized) If you really need to go to a UConn party, just take a bus or get a local friend to take you to Carriage House.
