Around Town

Go to Longview or Shreveport for things to do such as Laser Tag. During the winter there is ice skating rink and a Ferris wheel set up downtown. Mostly fun times include trip to Walmart or a restaurant.

I work a lot and play football.

there were game rooms, a gym, a ropes course, and other outdoor activities available on campus. dallas is a few hours away, shreveport is 20 minutes away, longview is 30 minutes and tyler is about an hour away. marshall seems like a cute town and its in a gorgeous area of texas, and is close to caddo lake. if you're into photography or just driving around exploring the country it seems like the prefect place for you!

There is so much to do for fun. During our free time, we like to go out and rent puppies from the shelter, its something that everyone can do. Even if there isn't anything to do, ETBU hosts events for students during the week and they are a lot of fun. Not too long ago, they started the Color Run which was a lot of fun, we got plastered with powered paint! There are many restaurants and sites to see aside from staying on campus. Some students like to go to Longview which is only a thirty minute drive and go to the mall. The student center offers a place upstairs for students to hang out or watch movies on the projector in a big room, sometimes the students will get together and play cops and robbers or Sardines.

Not much in town, but from the visit that we took -- it sounded like there were tons of activities for the students.

ETBU offers many intramural activities such as, kickball, baseball, volleyball, basketball, football, and many group organizations. Friends are always a plenty, so there will always be something to join in on, or someone to hang out with.

There are many things to do around campus for fun, and serving life is very abundant. Marshall is a bit of small town so not much is offered than a few local restaurants and cute, hipster coffee shops. Longview is located just a small 25 minute drive away that is bigger city with tons of things to do, even shopping!

I'm a baseball player

Not much to do in Marshall but can go to Longview or Shreveport. Lots of intermural sports and dorm fun going on.

Hang out with friends, and play sports.
