ETSU is cultural, Diversified, and a true experience. We have strong pre-med programs that will truly prepare you for the medical workforce. The aid offered to students goes far beyond just finances and will allow you abundant opportunities to be successful.

My Professors and Advisor seem to be interested in me. I commute from Kingsport, and that is going well. I am on track to graduate in just one more year.

East Tennessee State University is a great school in a great location. I only been at the university for a couple months but I have felt so welcomed. There are always activities on campus so you are never bored. I have had a great time at ETSU already. I cannot wait to see what my future holds at this great school.

ETSU is an amazing school to attend; I wouldn't have gone anywhere else. The majority of the professors here are invested in each student and their success, but they do not just simply hand you an A. There are particular things throughout campus that does need to improve, like the Financial Aid office and their efficiency.

IF YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE ELSE, DO!! Overall, ETSU is just crappy. The financial aid department is a joke. You can sit on hold for thirty minutes just to be told to look online and they never can get your award package out. I have had to fight back and forth with them this year because they can't look at documents, that they get paid to do, and get the information. So instead of it being super easy, you have to visit the IRS several times a week to get different documents that they don't even need after getting them. Finally, they do not explain what documents you are missing or even tell you that you are missing documents for that fact.

East Tennessee State University is a wonderful school, full of amazing professors who genuinely love the students. I'm on a break this semester from school to raise money while working in hopes to raise $7,000 to come back in the spring 2017. I love ETSU so much and really want to come back so I can keep pursuing my dreams of being a Physical Therapist!

east tennessee state university is the perfect size college for me, being small and compact. my core values align with their mission statement in relation to the value of teamwork, hard work and creativity. i laud east tennessee state on their philosophy that students are the center of their essence.

i absolutely love etsu. it's in a great location, with great people and things to do, and it is incredibly inviting. being a buccaneer is the best choice i've ever mad.

the financial aid department pretty much sucks at etsu.

I have had great customer service experiences with all the offices I have dealt with so far. The occasions people do not pick up their phones, you get a call back within 24 hours. Here you are not just a line number, you are an individual that they want to succeed.
