Might as well just take online classes. I attended in 2013-14 and was paying to live on campus but most of the assignments were online. The place is rampant with frat and sorority cults which is gross. Some professors were professional, most were PC babies who don't prepare you for the real world. I took a break due to a family emergency and they still charged me $4k for a semester I didn't attend. Read More-Go to every class - Try living on campus at least one semester - Go to all of the events you can ( you network and might even meet a friend, plus like free stuff, why not ) -Use the free tutors either through Trio or the CFAA in the library -Sherrod will become your home, Learn it's layout - USE A PLANNER - Mark reminders and stay on top of hw - Science majors, yes you need the online code too. This has your hw. - Quizlet is great for test prep, study blue is also very helpful - Study with friends and make it fun

Read MoreBe sure to apply for any and ever scholarship available, and then maintain a good GPA to keep them. Try to get involved in activities throughout campus, or organizations, and eventually apply for leadership roles. I definitely believe that you should tour the campus and ask all the questions you have, no matter how silly they seem, I sure wish I had asked more questions.
