    Be prepared to put in work if you desire to get straight A's or even close to it (3 A's, 1 B). Go to bed at a certain time, especially if you have an 8am or 9am class. Some professor lower your grade based on if you fall asleep in their class. Use all your free meal swipes, whether in the C-Store or in Hoover. Email professor questions if you are unsure about anything.

    Staying over night and sitting in on a class really helps understand the on campus life so try to do so. There are many fun events for freshman when they first get on campus, don't miss out on them! DePauw offers some really great scholarships and a free service trip to a Spanish speaking country but only for upcoming students that have to apply before their freshman year begins. Take advantage of all of these opportunities and apply for them!
