It's hectic and fun initially. After you settle in, you find your groove and meet some pretty amazing people to hang out with.…
Living in the dorms at Daemen was one of the best experiences I had. Dorm life led me to some of my best friends and experiences at school. While living…
I am a commuter, but I have friends that do dorm here. For freshman orientation, you are required to stay over night in the dorm. I was pleasantly suprised with…
Almost all freshmen will be in the same hall. The next year and beyond will be in these lush apartments.…
I love the food at Daemen College. There are three main areas to eat: the Den, 78 West, and the cafeteria. Options change every single day and you never get sick of the food. And if you are a picky eater, there is pizza and french fries served every single day in the cafeteria. Also, the Den has a theme each month for their food. Sometimes it's Greek, Italian, Thai, etc.
Read MoreThe food is decent here. It will never compare to mom and dad'Â?s home cooked meals, but no college ever will! There are many options here including a sub station, salad bar, soup bar, stir fry bar, pizza bar, etc. There are options to accommodate everyone's preferences. Besides the main dining hall, the Den has other food options including chicken fingers, burgers, pizza logs, mozzarella sticks, and so forth. There is also a cafe on campus that serves amazing coffee/smoothies!

Read MoreOnly one dinning hall, and it only open during certain hours. There also another food option that you can use money in your account toward, but it's only open weekdays. Overall the food is average not really outstanding, but usually not totally disgusting.
Read MoreBeing a vegetarian I was extremely worried about what I would eat while living on campus. Luckily, that wasn't a problem. The dining hall has dietary options that are friendly for everyone. Dining options include a salad bar, wrap bar, a grill, a pizza station, the Veg-E-Table, where students can make their own creation with rice, vegetables, and seasoning, and the line which offers something new each day.
Read MoreLots of healthy choices and junk food opportunities (on occasion).
Read MoreThe food isn't all that good it gets very tedious but the staff makes it better.
Read MoreThe food can be a tad repetitive at times, and it is not always the healthiest, but they do try to give you what you ask for. Most of the foods taste good, and they do listen to suggestions given from time-to-time.
Read MoreWith the new renovations to the dining hall, food choices have increased and so has the daily selection.
Read MoreFood is horrible, tends to serve the same food everyday.
Read MoreAlthough I am not a part of greek life, there are a few sorority and fraternities.
Read MoreGreek week was one of my favorite weeks on campus. The sororities host activities for all to join and participate in. For example, one night they hosted spa night where they painted your nails, provided smoothies/face masks, and taught you how to create DIY bath bombs. I am not personally in a sorority, but I have heard they are really fun and a great way to meet new people.

The faculty and staff are super comfortable asking them for help and to host events. The greek organizations are involved in the community on and office campus. They participate in Relay for Life and other events.
Read More5 Greek societies. participate and host events. They are not nation but specific to the college.
