I am really learning a lot in Cuyamaca College. The teachers are excellent because they dedicate their time even if it is not during the class in order for you to understand whatever subject you are confused on. Most of the teachers learn your name, so you feel more comfortable and involved in school. Classrooms are small in order for you to have a better understanding and participation.

Rigorous academics for stem related majors which really gets you prepared for a four year university. Cuyamaca offers many great opportunities as a community college and saves you a bunch of money in the process.
Read MoreCuyamaca college is an excellent choice for a community college. It provides fairly basic courses (some more advanced classes, but mostly GED) at a significantly lower price than an 4-year university (that I know of). There is a mixed bag of teachers, but from the classes that i've taken, I believe that there are teachers that truly care about their students' learning.

Being Disabled it was hard to go back to school, everyone on the Cuyamaca campus, ranging from the DSP&S office all the way down to fellow students, have made me feel welcome and comfortable in class as well as on campus. I have had the most wonderful college experience on Cuyamaca, I just wish I could stay forever, but SDSU is next.
