    Be willing to work hard and study. Get involved with different activities to expand social life. Whether you are introverted or extroverted make the extra effort to meet new people because they'll help you survive the bumps in the road. Seek help immediately. Even when you are doing well in a class take advantage of extra credit opportunities and supplemental help.

    If you are looking at the school in the nicer months, definitely check out the bluff. It is a beautiful area to hang out with friends, study, and look at God's creation. Another tip is to spend a night with a student in the dorms. It gives you a sneak peak into the college lifestyle, as well as to see more of what the school has to offer students!
