On-campus housing is really over-priced and the security is ridiculous. If you can, try to find roommates and get a place off campus. Chances are, it'll be cheaper and nicer.

  • I am researching this school and have not visited the campus

    If I had to rate this college, it would be a 9 out of 10 because when I think of Animation, art, and expression Columbia college pops out. This college has my career choice, which is Animation and I'm looking forward to applying here in 2020. The only thing holding me back might be the amount of money it is which is a lot of money even for a high school(soon to be) graduate.

    It seems that Columbia College Chicago offers a lot of hands-on work/opportunities, and their emphasis on networking is something very crucial in the major that I intend to pursue (hence it being my number one choice and dream college). It is also located in the great city of Chicago, which itself presents many different opportunities and experiences. The culture in the area is amazing and lively, it is sure to allow for a kickstart to one's workflow and motivation.

There is a lot of effort to have students cooperate and work on projects together that makes it feel like how the professional industry would operate.
