If that's not something that interests you, there are plenty of nightclubs (assuming you are of age), you can go on the strip which is about 15 mins away from 2 of the 3 main campuses, downtown fremont, there are art galleries both on campus and off, the mob museum, the atomic testing museum, etc.
Read MoreCSN is hit or miss for advertising events. Sometimes they advertise in every available area of the campus and other times the only way to know about something is to accidentally walk by at the right time. Still, there are many fun events and many of them include free food. There are also fun clubs like Creative Writing club or there are just random people playing card games who will accept you with open arms. You might have to go looking, but once you find them you'll be accepted into their group.

Read MoreGo to the computer lab of course, it is a great way to kill time. Go to the planetarium and look at all they have to offer, it is actually awesome. Also, the art gallery it is awesome what some students can do!
