The food there is great depending on what you’re eating. The area is clean and some of the servers are nice.

Not the best, and there are options, but only for a certain time. For example, the cafe opens at 8:00 am and closes at 11 pm Sunday through Thursday. From Friday to Saturday, the cafe opens at 10:30 am and closes at 7 pm. There are some really great restaurants and bars in the Riverdale/Yonkers area that compensate for the lack culinary creativity.

mercy college located in manhattan 34th st does not even have a cafeteria! i was told because we were in the city and they sell so many different types of food we could buy from. but what if outside food is too expensive? and the cafeteria food just meets our pockets? we're college students! we go broke and hungry way too often.

There is good food on certain days. Chicken fingers, sandwiches, quesadillas, etc. are available every day. Every day there is a different hot meal available for lunch and dinner. There is a salad bar as well. There really isn't a large selection of healthy foods.

There is one main caf which is open 8am-11pm Sunday thru Thursday which is good. But on Friday and saturday it is only open for a few hours because barely anyone is here on the weekends. The caf is okay, but it's the same food over and over again, so you get sick of it very fast.

Be prepared to spend money in other places for food because the cafe food is decent but always the same. The food is over-priced and sometimes not cooked well.
