I came to Colgate with a pretty narrow idea of what I wanted to study and what I wanted out of my collegiate career. Colgate has, however, reshaped my ideas about the potential of a college education. Read MoreColgate is a great place for research and study abroad opportunities, amazing professors, extracurriculars galore, and one of the best alumni networks you'll find at any college. Their need-based financial aid is incredible - a Colgate grant has helped me cover the majority of my tuition. However, the student body is largely white and very preppy, so be prepared for a lot of homogeneity with small pockets of diversity.
