As you already know that Harold Washington is located in the middle of Downtown you have access to the restaurants in less than 0.5-mile distance, and guess what there is a Dunkin located right in front of the Harold Washington College. I always go to the Dunkin between breaks, like even in 10-15 mins breaks that's how close it is. Trust me you will enjoy the potbelly sandwich shop, chick-a-flea right by the Dunkin, I swear to god I love eating food from Chick-a-flea the main thing is that it is so close, I am sure you will want a college to have all that accessible.

Food at Harold Washington Cafe is regular, nothing special food. But since we are located in the loop, we have restaurants, fast food and all off the above pretty close. Students tend to go out and buy lunch for wherever they wish to get food from and they even bring there own lunch where they can heat up in our cafeteria. Something amazing that we have a Harold Washington is that every month we have a chef come in and make delicious, homemade food fro students to buy, which is great for me because I personally get tired of all the fast food I eat when I am at school.

Lunch is whatever time students want it. Harold Washington College is in Chicago's loop downtown. There are a variety of stores and restaurants that are near the campus. Students have an option to bring their own lunch. If they do not want to eat, it is up to them what they want. The student lounge/cafeteria is in the basement of the school. This is a place where students eat their lunch, study, hangout, and meet new people. The student lounge is a convenient and safe haven for students to mingle at.

There is a cafeteria, but most students bring their food or go out to the surrounding restaurants, since the school is located in the Loop.

There is a small cafeteria in the basement as well as some vending machines throughout the building. I personally did not care for the food and thought that it was overpriced. However, most people bring food from home and just eat it in the cafeteria with some friends or while studying.

Phi Theta Kappa Honors Soicety is a great opportunity for students who plan to transfer to a university. Many schools gladly give scholarships to members.

Greek life is represented. I believe there is at least one, I just don't remember the name. I'm not into Greek life or societies like Gamma.

Their are some Greek chapters but they are very small. I believe Harold Washington has one or two Greek chapters. Given the fact that Harold Washington is a junior college and not a university it would have little to no actual Greek life ( non of the Greeks at HWC have their own house. HWC is a commuters school.)
