    I would suggest you to join as many clubs as you can because by joining you will have scholarship opportunities. If you join PTK you will get $2,500 for most of the colleges when you transfer. You can also get movie tickets etc�. So if you want to grow you should join clubs. I know there are many clubs, for example, the Phi Theta Kappa, the Student government association, which is commonly known as SGA

    if you don't like your academic counselor, don't be afraid to ask for a new one. i did and it paid off. take philosophy with richardson and/or swanson, take humanities with henry and take sociology with martinez!! they are all tenured professors and i truly feel this is essential to the harold experience. :) the clubs and organizations are great and the newspaper is award winning. participate!!!
