    Don't be afraid to use the writing and learning center -- the people there are usually nice and SUPER helpful. Also, when you first get here, remember that the FAFSA and scholarship cycle starts again in September/October. The college does not remind you, but these important financial systems begin again around the beginning of the school year and need to be handled asap.

    Get the inside scoop before coming. They make it look so good and the campus is beautiful, but it's the everyday life and excitement that this school just doesn't have. It gets old quickly .
