There are few options on campus as well as the surrounding areas. There's burgers, Panda Express, and some other small fast food restaurants in the cafeteria and a Starbucks on campus, as well as a small snack shop that sells that and other small entrees and drinks. Across the street there is a taco shop and a Tapioca express, but down the street there is a plaza with a grocery shop and other fast food and sit down restaurants. The only thing that I have to say is that it does get tiring after awhile especially if you live on campus and rely on this food and it isn't exactly cheap for the amount that you're given.

In Cal State San Marcos there is no dining plan so there is not much variety of restaurants to select from. The restaurants that are there give you good portions of food but there are expensive. Also if you decide to eat there every day you end up getting tired of the food because there is not much variety.

The meal plans are perfect for students that live on campus. They have food that is suitable for everyone.

there are many restaurants that are close to campus. it's only a 5 minute drive to get to san marcos boulevard, where students can indulge in a variety of delicious options from coffee shops, sushi, and my two personal favorites, thai and indian food.

There are good places to eat such as Panda Express, Wow Cafe and Tapioca Express among others, but there aren't many choices here. You would have to go across the street where the marketplace is or to San Marcos Blvd. where civilization actually exists.

There are lots of yummy food choices here! I have had some of the best food I can remember having at the WOW Cafe. There are multiple restaurant type places to eat, as well as a cafe with pastries and coffee, a mini super market, and a Starbucks. (Actually there are quite a few coffee places on campus; hey, welcome to college!)

i recently became a member of my sorority, alpha chi omega. joining alpha chi has by far been one of the best decisions i've made during my time at cal state san marcos. being a member of the greek community has made me feel more involved on campus- whether it's fundraisers, mixers, or attending philanthropy events, there's always something to do! i love giving back and making a difference in my community.

Alpha Chi Omega rules the school. Greek life here is definitely a status symbol, but not difficult to get involved in.

Our greek life is fantastic on campus because it constantly supports unity, character, and builds a strong foundation of both sisterhood or brotherhood. Being in a sorority or fraternity provides opportunities to engage in all kinds of events and activities on campus that will help you enhance your communication skills, and give students the opportunity to use their own strengths to make the organization better and unique.
