California State University-Northridge Campus Life

There's a wide variety of food at CSUN to choose from, and I take advantage of that every so often. Everything is fresh, and ready to be eaten within minutes! Very affordable!

Varied and budget friendly. If you only have a couple bucks, well there's something for you. Want a nice sit-in restaurant where you can have a solid lunch and a drink (alcoholic and soft drinks), well there's places on Reseda that are within walking distance of "that" class.

There are a whole bunch of restaurants on Reseda BLVD that have student discounts.

Geronimos is really bad. Initially it may taste somewhat good, but when you consistently eat it everyday, it becomes really bad, so getting an apartment with a kitchen and cooking your own meals is probably better, but that's just my opinion.

The food is great especially geranomos with is a buffet and it is so close to the dorms.

I don't really know about on campus dining but there are all kinds of food options within walking distance like Chipotle, Habit, California Chicken Cafe, good boba, Wienerschnitzel, and a couple more restaurants.

The food is amazing, the workers genuinely make you feel like coming back to eat there. There's a wide selection of food and has something everyone will want. The same with where you want to eat. You can enjoy your food, under the warm sun, under the shade of a tree, at the duck pond, even the library.

It comes in a package with the dorm application.

A bit too pricy but what is cheap now-a-days. Use coupons! Burger King, Pollo Loco, Panda Express, Subway and many other dinners. Campus needs healthier options.

It's pretty good here; definitely lots of options to chose from and 10% off with the Matamoney card doesnt hurt. :)

No Greek life for me! But it is a great way to meet people that have similar interests as you!

Im not involved, but my friends seem to love it; even the one that goes to the local community college.

its amazing and i highly recommend you try the Greek life.

Again: Resulted in someone's death. How can this be good? I will say that I have met some decent folk apart of Frats and Sororities, but they are the exceptions to the rule.

If you have your favorite fraternity group in mind they have it! Do your research.

It is really not like everyone thinks. We take grades really seriously and we always have something fun planned for everyone to do.

Greek life is present, but it isn't as profound as some of the other frat universities like UCSB.

The frats and sororities vary from this school. But there are plenty to join!

The school also offers numerous sororities and fraternities. During fall break, they all hold rush week, which gives anybody the opportunity to rush which is basically to mingle with the sororities or fraternities you wish to be a part of in hopes you receive bids afterward. A large percentage of our school population belongs to the Greek system and each person has their own experience, but they absolutely love it. You build lifelong connections and friendships.
