    Definitely read your syllabus and check to make sure your professor has a descent amount of reviews or ask around first! Always go to class and never check out early or miss a lecture because you will fall behind even if you do get notes from friends. I learned that the hard way but following my friends. Always talk to your professor if you have questions because professors are willing to help with their office hours.
