I would give the food in the cafeteria 10 stars if I could because of the vast amounts of food choices we have offered to us and because of the amazing chefs. With that being said, the mandatory meal plan to live on dorms is outrageous. I have the basic meal plan which happened to be the cheapest (although it still cost about $1600 a semester). I have just finished my first semester and I only used about two thirds of the meal credits that came with my meal plan and the worst part is, I don't get my money back for the credits I didn't use, which puts me at losing about $500.

The Cafe is quite small but is expanding. There is construction going on that will expand the dining complex. As for the options there are, there is a salad bar, a grill, a Mexican grill, a pasta station, a sandwich station, and a special station where there is something different everyday. Typically, there are specials in each station but besides for the special, there are set menus in each stations. At the Grill it has the weekday morning plates of pancakes, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches and so on. In the afternoon it has plates such as burgers, fries, chicken strips, hot dogs and so on. At the Mexican Grill, it has burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and so on. At the special station they usually have chicken or steak or fish depending on the special with rice and steamed vegetables. One thing that I do want to express is that these things are made on the spot at the grill station and pasta station. They make your order right then and there rather than having plates pre-made. There are other dining places such as the Student Union Building where you can get sandwiches and burgers and restaurants up in Glen such as Indian Restaurant called Sitar and a Mexican Restaurant called Tortillas. There is also Pizza Pi where you can order pizza.

There are so many options for food at this school. There are some delicious restaurants around that are very reasonably priced, and there is even a market where you can buy food using your student meal points. You can work at the stores on campus with the work study program.

At the Island cafe on Wednesdays they serve Asian style foods. They have a Mexican grill, salad bar, regular grill, sandwich station, ice cream station, drink station (which includes coffee and hot cocoa) and a specialty station. If you don't know what to get, keep an ear open to what the person in front is ordering, odds are that's good. You can put the cookies... in the to go box. awesome right? Of course they don't allow that, just don't get caught. go with other dorm mates, it's just more fun that way! don' too much, the food tastes very good, but put all that pizza down mister/missy. Balance your diet.

There are many places to eat on campus. The food at the cafe is way better than the food at other colleges.

There is a decent amount of variety for on campus dining (several coffee shops, a grill, a deli, a froyo place, a pizza place, a Mexican place, and an Indian restaurant is coming soon); however, all of these options are significantly overpriced. The only traditional 'college dining hall' can be paid for with swipes from a meal plan, and although a lot of the food tastes good, there are virtually no health-conscious, vegan, or vegetarian options.

The food on campus isn't very great so it is recommended to eat off campus. The pizza place and mexican restaurants are decent food and offer some alcoholic beverages.

There is one sorority, but they don't have a sorority house because the President won't allow that on campus.
