Be on time to your classes, but always talk to your professors. The professors here really want you to learn and pass, so if you let them know what's going on in your life or if you have any struggles with the material tell them and they will help as much as theycan.

try to go to student life building in carman hall and apply for scholarships and internships as soon as possible. it's better to prepare as early as possible since by the time you are enrolled and engage in your studies. you wouldn't notice a year or two has passed by. try to roam around the campus since it's not really big and you won't be lost at all. though the problem is some of the classroom numbers are wearing down due to how old the building is. so you might be confuse as to what room you are looking at. also minor in languages. i'm taking japanese classes right now. asako-sensei is an amazing professor and one of the best. she's a native japanese who went to college in us and has lived here ever since. she knows the different culture values between the us and japan.

Make sure to stay close with your professors because it's a school that allows you to stand out without a problem. A great beginning for someone that wants to go to a bigger campus, but is too scared to move on from highschool. The shift from highschool to this college is rewarding and exactly what someone needs. If you need help just simply ask. There is a lot of help on this campus, but you just have to find it. Don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone because no one will judge you. Activate your Lehman email as soon as possible because it will be necessary to figure out what is going on at Lehman. A lot of opportunities will come out of this campus, but you have to be involved. Stay focus on your studies, but also expand your network.
