For the most part, all of the classes are small enough that the professor knows your name and is able to pay more attention to the needs of the students. Because of this, it is much easier to learn more and to understand the topic without having to rush through anything. As long as you stay focused, I feel that the overall workload will never reach critical mass.

I enjoyed Butler because of how close it is to a city, but it is also less hustle and bustle compared to Chicago. There is also a great program for undecided majors. Safety is definitely one of their best assets along with many others.

Read MoreButler University is for the student who wants to be challenged academically and who wants a small, lively campus. Butler claims to have a "community of care" and shows it in all aspects. No matter what is happening on campus, you feel like you are a part of it.
Read MoreI think the best quality of Butler University is its community. People genuinely care about each other and want to see each other succeed. This goes for both the academic and social communities.
Read MoreAbsolutely beautiful campus. Their theatre program to me seems unbeatable. I would recommend it to anyone researching theatre as a major.
Read MoreThe amount of diversity might be small, but we have a powerful and encouraging duo consisting of two incredibly kind and intelligent women who develop and implement eye-opening programs in order to promote diversity. We also have dedicated and active student-ran organizations which educate other students on current issues and create plans to impacts those issues. Overall, Butler has a strong group of students who have a very strong potential to change the world in a better way through the guidance and support of an incredibly involved faculty and staff.
Read MoreButler is a great academic school. The new administration within the past few years has been changing Butler for the worst. Social life on campus is dying out. I recommend coming if you only care about academics and don't want the rest of the college experience.
Read MoreThe class sizes are small, meaning that classes are very personal and students get a lot of one-on-one attention from teachers. The university has a community of care unlike that of any other university I have visited, and the services available to students are phenomenal. Its location in downtown Indianapolis makes it easy to get out in to the community.
Read MoreButler has a community that truly cares about each and every one of its students. The faculty really get involved in their student's academic journeys, and the opportunities that Butler has to offer are very accessible for any student looking to get involved. In terms of size, it's not too small, yet small enough to create a sense of unity and safety.
