Read MoreButler has really surprised me with all of the events it hosts on campus! There's something to do every weekend. We have organizations that plan an array of events that all come free to students. From concerts, to movies, to scavenger hunts, to massages/finals therapy, there's always something going on on campus. Don't forget, we're also located a hop skip and a jump from downtown Indy as well as Broad Ripple. So if whatever's on campus doesn't strike your fancy, there's always the city!
Read MoreMany students attend events at the Greek housing on campus. Others choose to walk the short distance to Broad Ripple, a local arts district. If you don't want to leave campus there is plenty to do. There is a free movie every Friday and Saturday on campus and students get into sporting events for free. Clowes Hall often has guest speakers and recitals from the Jordan College of the Arts.

Students and locals frequent the area and it always proves to be an entertaining time. Butler is also about 10 minutes from downtown Indianapolis which has the Circle Center Mall and different sport arenas including the Colts. Again in downtown there are clubs, bars, and a wide variety of restaurants and shops. We are also close to the Indiana state fair grounds which hosts the state fair and many different concerts and shows. On campus there is Clowes Hall which has Broadway plays, musicals, concerts, and guests speakers year round.
