Around Town

There's not much to do for fun in town, especially on Sundays when almost every store closes down. Most students at least bring games and other entertainment from home to keep morale high, while others work to kill time, and those that are old enough go to the bar and destress there.

Rapid City is nearby and there is plenty of night life in both Rapid City and Spearfish.

You can rent bikes on campus and ride all over town and into the hills. Spearfish Creek offers a great way to cool off or just relax and read a book. The Black Hills offers some amazing hiking and is great year round.

The campus usually has plenty of activities going on and ways for you to meet students.

The Hills are your backyard, go forth and explore the wonderful outdoors!

There are many different clubs including Skydiving. You can go checkout the Black Hills. Or just walk around Downtown

PROGRAMS! The university has constant activities going on, and they are a ton of fun if you go and enjoy yourself. Plus there are plenty of great hiking trails and a disc golf course on campus!
