Unlike many colleges that focus only on intellectual development, Bethany really helps develop your entire person. To get the full benefits of a Bethany education, get involved in as much as is reasonably possible. Be prepared to get to know a lot of people, since everybody knows everybody, and in many ways Bethany is like a large family. The classes are for the most part fairly small, so you get to know your classmates and professors quite well, which adds to the learning experience. There is a chapel service every weekday, and the chaplain is a great person to get to know. Take your homework seriously, as the professors at Bethany are sincerely interested in helping you learn to be a deep, critical thinker. Overall, Bethany helps you generally as a person, so don't come thinking that you will end up in one of the extremes of studying or partying all the time. Bethany doesn't fit your stereotypical idea of a college education and experience.

This is a great college, especially for people who are looking more of a close nit and individualized sort of education. Bethany is a small campus which makes it easy to move around and find your classrooms. Professors are more than willing to help you if you don't understand something class related, but they're also willing to help you if you're experiencing some personal difficulties.
