Barry is so diverse and small. You will meet people from all over the world. It's a saying here you either have an accent or you're trying to understand one.
Read MoreI strongly dislike being at Barry. The dorms are terrible, the food is worse, and academic building hours are inconvenient. Teachers are nice for the most part but most are foreign and difficult to comprehend. Staff in Student Union building are unhelpful and clearly dislike their jobs. Barry uses a the slogan Barry Cares which I find difficult to believe seeing that the food is a step below prison quality, RA's are only there to get you in trouble and if you have a complaint about something your just yelled at by staff meant to help you and they just tell you to go complain elsewhere. Overall the worst decision I've ever made was to attend the half assed second rate school.

I have found the staff to be very helpful, and the school hosts lots of events such as dances and trips off campus, many of which are free. The dorms are your typical college dorms. The food gets old after a while, but again, that's part of the college experience.
