i do not live on campus, but i have friends that do, and they love it! the good thing about living on campus is that you experience the college experience…
Again, it is what you make of it. If you're looking for a fancy hotel-like dorm lifestyle, perhaps APU is not for you. The community is what makes dorm living…
The RA's had decorated the common areas like a board straight from Pinterest, adding a homey, cheerful touch to the dorms. The community is accepting and…
the halls set up different events that make it easy to bond with your hall mates. there are not enough rooms for all the students, so many freshman are tripled…
The food options are limited, especially for vegetarians.
Read MoreThe food is decent. It does get old after a while though. There are certain things at the different venues on campus that are good though., but the dining venues are: Umai Sushi (which is on West Campus), The Den which serves pizzas, burgers, grilled cheeses, etc.), The Dining Hall (ordinary cafeteria food.... I personally only eat breakfast here), The Grill (this is also on West Campus and they serve both chinese and burgers and such), Cornerstone Coffeehouse (pretty much a starbucks on campus but they make amazing smoothies too), Paws and Go (a small store that sells snacks and drinks along with small packs of advil or toiletries in case of an emergency), The Market ( pretty much the same thing as Paws and Go but they have more breakfast items and an AMAZING milkshake machine), and Mexicali (APU's version of Chipotle, it's pretty good and most of the time the best choice for lunch or dinner).
Read MoreFood and dining options are of fairly good quality, so it is easy to overeat. Slightly different food is served at every meal, but their breakfast choices are the best of the three meals. There are actually quite a few other mini eateries on both East and West Campus. In addition, APU also has a mini supermarket and their own little Chipotle place.
Read MoreMany delicious food options, lots of variety, many different locations for convenience. Only reason for 4 not 5 stars is there are not many healthy options, although they are available if you look for them!
Read MoreThere are many different types of dining choices from sub sandwiches to hamburgers and chicken tenders to pizza to asian cuisine. You will always have plenty of variety of good food.
Read MorePersonally, the food isn't that healthy here, and there is a noticeable difference in quality in West Campus food and East Campus food. If you have the Dining plan, it is very easy to over-eat, even though they give you a weekly plan. I don't have the meal plan anymore because it is too expensive, but there are a lot of people that do like the food here. The pizza place, (similar concept as Pieology) is pretty decent, as is Mexicali, and most of the West Campus dining options are pretty good.
Read MoreLots of options! Some great, some just okay.
Read MoreThere are a lot of choices of eatery on campus, from sushi to mexican food. There are also great grab and go shops where you can stop by in between classes to grab a snack.
Read MoreThere are many good places to eat on campus but might get a bit repetitious. It may be hard for a vegan to get by but there are a lot of places to eat around campus that are walking distances. They sell food from sushi to pizza to bbq to sandwiches. It is a good idea to buy a meal plan if you buy food on campus because of the prices.
Read MoreThis is an area they're improving on. After a while, all the options get tiring and repetitive, but you will survive, and its worth it.
Read MoreSorry to disappoint, but nope. Nada. None. Next topic.
Read MoreDoes not exist! Choirs are the closest to a sorority or fraternity on campus, and they are fabulous experiences!
Read MoreNone
Read Morenone
Read MoreThere is a medical group on campus that is like a sorority but more like a club for students that want to work in the medical field
Read MoreThere is no Greek life on campus. As sophomores you no longer live in dorms, you have apartments, so it's not like you have to live in dorms for four years. It just depends what your personality is and if you are okay with not having Greek life.
Read MoreNo greek life.
Read MoreNone. Unless Honors students count..,,
