Even though i have not been able to visit the campus, i know that i am going to love it there. It is not far from home, and it is close to Chicago.
Read MoreThe only reason I put 3 stars is because I'm one of those people who need to be constantly entertained or I lose interest. Most of the teachers are the best I have ever had, the other students are extremely nice and open, and the classes, for the most part, are interesting. I just did not find enough activities to keep me entertained.
Read MoreBeing able to attend AU is awesome. Right now I'm involved with the Latin American Student Organization. Being part of this organization has helped me make new friends and be involved on campus. The university is small and has a nice cozy environment. During the nice sunny days you'll enjoy walking to your classes and watching the nice scenery.
Read MoreThere is so much to get involved in on campus. This is a major draw for me, because as a commuter student who lives alone, if there were no activities on campus, I would be spending a lot of time sitting around at home. There are over 60 student organizations, that range from Games Club to Scrapbooking Club to Sororities to Psychology Club. I am an active member of the Activities Programming Board, which is in charge of contracting musicians, comedians, magicians, hypnotists, and other events to come to campus. I am also involved in Circle K, as well as LEAD a leadership training program on campus. The best part is, every activity is free for students. If you are bored on this campus it is because you are not attending events. We also have many sports including Baseball, Football, Tennis, Basketball, Softball, Volleyball, and new this year: Lacrosse.
