    Get involved in things! It'll be easier to make new friends who could really help you out one day. Another tip is to find a good apartment that suits your needs and is relatively close to your classes.

    When you register for classes, be aware of the location where classes take place. One thing I realized after attending very first semester is that it is so hard to get to the next class on time in few minutes if the buildings of the two classes are apart.
