App State is one of the cheapest Universities in the state of North Carolina. Each student receives a quality education. Appalachian is getting more and more competitive and this alone makes the education worth every penny. (Okay well maybe just most of the pennies because school is EXPENSIVE). Parking is the only thing that is a little outrageously priced and it is because of the high demand on the mountain. The food in the dining halls is a little overpriced, but nothing completely unmanageable.

Appalachian is a great school. I feel very safe there. It's far enough away from home but not too far. Compared to other colleges, tuition is reasonable. Did I mention the views??
