Around Town

the university does all it can to make your academics is well balanced with fun activities that not only feed the body but the soul as well. There are numerous beaches nearby as well as places to shop and play. Just take a look at the agenda put out by the school. Remember again, this is a christian school so don't look for wild parties or inappropriate activities. There are many opportunites for mission trips and study tours, just check them out on Andrews website.

Chicago is only an hour and a half away. Great for weekend getaways and birthday parties. The beach is pretty close. It is beautiful in the spring and summertime. There are a few places to go bowling and skating in the area. There is also a movie theatre in Benton Harbor and in Niles.

There isn't a whole lot to do in Berrien Springs, but the students of AU like to go to Silver Beach in St. Joseph, MI over the weekends. There's also a delicious homestyle restaurant named Nikki's that the locals enjoy.

Gymnastics, sports in intramurals, hang out with friends, do things outdoors in the area.

Worship God, concerts, bowling and activities in he towns around.

There's always something going on at Andrews. Whether it's week of prayer, international night, fall fest, or club vespers, you'll never lack options. Climb a tree -- the scenery is beautiful! Take a walk by the creek. Visit the dairy farm. Hang out in the student center. Play sports. Go to the concerts.

Take extracurricular classes. Join GROW groups. Join a club. Within a three hour drive of Chicago. Lots of state parks nearby. The campus is situated in the country, so don't expect there to be a shopping mall right next door, but within thirty minutes you can get to a larger city.

You're close to Notre Dame and pretty close to Chicago as well. There isn't a lot to do in the immediate area, but if you go 20 minutes away there's lots.

There are sports like soccer, football, basketball, and more. There are also many, MANY clubs. Everything from the aviation club to the Korean club. There is also a student lounge with tv, pool tables, video games, and just a place to hang out with friends. The gazebo is a good place to hang out too. There is not a lot of stuff in town though.

They have plenty of clubs and activities. Because of the international mix of students campus life is especially fun. Whether hanging out with people or embarking on the international trips the university takes within there clubs fun is certain.
