American is EXPENSIVE. And if there is something you wanna study here come and pay for it because for the most part its worth it. The food can often be subpar and not worth the money paid for meal plans. Most of the academic buildings on campus are really nice and have been redone and the professors are really good too. But its in the city and its a private school so its very expensive but if you wanna be in DC you should go. They have decent financial aid and scholarships so if you don't think you can afford apply anyway just to see because they could offer you a good amount of scholarship to help you go there.

  • I am accepted here and planning to attend soon

american was very generous with the financial aid package they gave me. while i still will have to take out some loans, it is very manageable, and they are allowing me to additionally waive my enrollment fee and housing deposit, which is very helpful.
