AU is a good school with a beautiful campus right in DC. If you are interested in international studies/relations, political science, economics or journalism go here. The school offers plenty of majors in its different schools but most are smaller than the big ones mentioned above, but nonetheless most have very good professors. The math and science departments are small and some professors are not very good but they have certainly grown in the last few years.

american university is the type of school that welcomes you with loving arms. a diverse student body and gorgeous campus, au is the suburban school in the middle of a big city. a perfect university.

The campus is absolutly beautiful and is in prime location for great scholarship and educational opportunities! People are very friendly and welcoming!

The campus is incredible. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The surrounding area offers plenty to do.

Beautiful campus, looks good to me

AU is perfect for International Relations, great for liberal arts majors and good for science majors.

Wonderful campus, international student body and engaged and engaging professors have made this a fabulous experience so far. I have had the opportunity to create my own major within the School of Public Affairs. As a student in the Honors Program, classes are small, which has given me an opportunity to get to know my professors and vice versa.

American University has a nice medium sized campus. For the most part everyone seems to be passionate about something. Overall, it's a nice environment.

American has great professors, solid programs and a beautiful campus to study on. Students can live on campus in living/learning communities that enrich their lives and strengthen their skills. American also offers hundreds of clubs allowing students to explore their interests outside of the classes.
