Dorm life is excellent. You will easily make new friends and have a fun time.…
Can be a bit crazy…
Expect to know the names of the people in your hall. You may not be best friends with all of them, but you'll get to know them by name and…
Welcome to high school except with a dorm. …
nothing fancy, but certainly does the job. ra's are all great.…
Caf is average, nothing special. The hours aren't ideal though unlike other schools that have multiple caf's that are open 18 hours a day.
Read MoreThere cafeteria food was very fresh and there was a good food selection also.
Read MoreThe food isn't the best, but there is always something you will enjoy for every meal.
Read MoreFoods pretty good, next year i hear that they are upgrading to more meal options. There is a Mcdonalds, Pizza place, KFC, and ice cream shop nearby.
Read MoreGREAT SELECTION. I'm a vegetarian, and I usually have no problem finding stuff to eat. It's like eating in a family restaurant, buffet-style. Environmentally-conscious, sometimes health-minded, and diverse food will test your natural tastes and the delicious food will make you excited for mealtime. They have an Asian food bar, American classics, soups, vegan area, and the menu varies significantly every day.
Read MoreThe options around town are pretty limited, but there are a few local gems. The dining hall is pretty good most days, and always has gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. If you have a dietary issue, you can talk to the manager, and they will always have something for you. Also, breakfast in the dining hall is awesome. Even lazy college kids get up before their 8am classes to enjoy it.
Read MoreI ate at a buffet that was being presented in the (at the time) temporary dining hall on campus. There was a decent selection, including gluten-free options, which impressed me. The food and drink itself was good, definitely well above merely palatable and in the range of tasty.
Read MoreThe food is actually pretty healthy and surprisingly tasty for dorm food. The only down side is that since we are such a small campus, there is usually only one option for a meal, so if you don't like it you will be eating salad, a bagel or cereal most likely.
Read MoreDine out if possible
Read MoreHas improved a lot.
Read MoreAs someone who never planned on ever getting into Greek life, I can say that doing so here was one of the best decisions I ever made! Everyone who is a part of Greek life (nearly half of the total student population) is extremely supportive of each other and just generally great people. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people and form friendships as well as connections. The social activities and community service events are always so much fun and I honestly can’t imagine not having my sorority sisters around me now since making my decision to rush. Definitely consider at least looking into Greek life if you’re going here, even if you’ve never been into it before. There’s no such thing as a “typical” sorority girl or frat bro, everyone is extremely accepting of all types of diversity and people want to make you feel welcome.
Read MoreNot even close to comparable with Greek life at a Big 10 school.
Read MoreGO GREEK!
Read MoreHUGE part of campus
Read MoreThere are plenty of greek fraternities and sororities to join!
Read MoreThere are six fraternities and five sororities on campus. About half of the student body is a part of Greek Life. Greek Life is different here, because the school is so small, we focus more on philanthropy and raising money for good causes. Each frat or sorority is made up of a group of students that become family throughout four years at Albion.
Read MoreGreek life was the best discussion I made at Albion thus far. It helps you meet new people and makes you feel a part of something. The Greek life is very involved in the community. For example, Greek members mentor the students at the local elementary school.
Read MoreI am not interested in Greek life but sororities are not allowed to live together but do have houses for meetings. Fraternities are right on campus on a block and have house parties almost every weekend.
Read MoreLots of Greeks....Frats and Sororities.
