Program Description

Through weekly tutoring and test preparation, college inquiry, leadership development, peer-to-peer mentoring, paid internships, and student and community networking events, the YW LEAD Brooklyn Program will assist and empower young women in high school who are college bound. Applicants must be high achieving, sophomore girls who are motivated to go to college and willing to commit to at least 2.5 years of weekly activities, including engaging, supportive and empowering programming to help them achieve their goals and become YW LEADers at their high schools, colleges, and in their communities.
