Program Description

The purpose of the National Cancer Institute-funded Youth Enjoy Science (YES) program is to engage middle school, high school and undergraduate students with Native American heritage in cancer research experience to ultimately increase the number of Native American research and health care professionals. This is achieved through research internships, YES Clubs, day-long events, college campus exposure, college preparedness, high school readiness, and mentorship programs.
