Westminster High School AVID

Program Description

AVID is the number one college prep program in the nation.

  • - Our freshemn are in boot camp, learning to take Cornell notes and how to be successful in high school.
  • - For our older AVID students, we host field trips year-round to colleges and college fairs across the state.
  • - We have a guest speaker from Metro University to come talk to students about applications, scholarships and FAFSA.
  • - We team up with the WPS Future Center to provide students and families with FAFSA help during the year.
