Program Description

Western Knetucky University Upward Bound is a federally-funded TRIO program which provides motivational, educational, and cultural enrichment to potential first-generation and low-income high school students from Allen, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan counties (including the Russellville school district). Our mission is to prepare students for success in post-secondary education. WKU Upward Bound serves students through weekly school visits, monthly Saturday Sessions (during the academic year), and our six-week a residential summer camp held at WKU, in which students take academic classes, and participate in community service and cultural enrichment activities.
