Voyager Leadership

Program Description

Nearly 20 years ago, the Minneapolis Regional Chamber began the development of a program to prepare students for the work place and to give them the skills and desire to be life-long learners. The goal of Voyager is to develop successful graduates with the qualifications and experience needed to meet or exceed job requirements.

Entering the Voyager program is a competitive process requiring a 2.0 GPA, passing a basic reading and comprehension tests and a personal interview. The program is offered to juniors and seniors at Edison High School. Approximately 60 students participate in the program each year. A number of Chamber members have been important partners in making this program possible.
