Upward Bound at Anoka-Ramsey Community College - Coon Rapids

Program Description

TRiO Upward Bound is a federally funded College Readiness program for first-generation high school students in the North Metro area. They spend extra hours during the week at after-school tutoring in their schools. One of their Saturday's a month is spent with our entire Upward Bound at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids, learning the necessarily skills, tools and knowledge it takes to be college ready. During the summer, Upward Bound students spend 5 weeks taking classes, followed by an enrichment trip exposing them to many colleges in the area.
