Umpqua Community College Upward Bound

Program Description

Umpqua Community College's Upward Bound Program serves students in three high schools in rural Douglas County, Oregon. Students come from low income, first generation college going families. They attend monthly team meetings, Saturday Seminars, and study groups. In the summer, they attend a six week long summer academy to build skills and be better prepared for college.
