The Early College at Lansing Community College

Program Description

The Early College is a collaboration between Ingham Intermediate School District (ISD) and Lansing Community College (LCC). The Early College is a program for students entering their junior year of high school that are looking for an opportunity to move into a college environment.

The Early College at LCC offers up to 60 college credits, tuition free, for students in participating high schools who will be starting their junior year of high school. Enrolled students will attend class on LCC's main campus for grades 11-13 and will no longer attend their high school.

Students are expected to complete the program in three years. After three years, they will have earned their high school diploma and up to sixty college credits, tuition free. These credits are transferable to most Michigan and national colleges and universities.
