Program Description

The TRiO Upward Bound Programs at The State University of New York at Genesee Community College is a college preparatory program for college bound high school students who are from an underrepresented population including first generation college bound and/or low family income level. Our students strive to attain a 4 year degree and graduate from post-secondary education. We provide Academic and College/Career Advisement and services throughout the academic year and into a 6 week summer program at the SUNY Genesee Community College main campus in Batavia, New York to help students matriculate into college with the academic, personal, and financial know how to be a successful student and citizen. We serve students in 7 school districts in the counties of Wyoming and Genesee in western New York.
