Program Description

We primarily work with high achievers who are highly motivated. We help students identify careers and college majors that are in alignment with their interests and aptitudes. We help students build their college list. We assist them in the application process and we provide comprehensive financial planning and scholarship guidance.

Our students range from 0 EFC students to full pay students. We do a lot of pro bono and heavily discounted work. We currently have students in 13 states but we are open to serving students in all 50 states.

For 2019, the median GPA was a 3.8 and the median ACT was a 29; the median SAT was a 1420.

I co-host a weekly podcast called, "Your College Bound Kid" which is designed to bridge the access gap. I interview college admission officers on most of our podcasts.

I have an office in Metro Atlanta, but 70% of the students I work with are not in Georgia and we use Zoom video for this college coaching.

I am also the Director of College Counseling for Alumni for KIPP Metro Atlanta. I will place another 60-70 students a year at KIPP, 95% are Black and 5% identify as Latinx. The majority of these students are Pell eligible and there is a wide range of academic levels. Currently, 15 of the 70 students are in college prep boarding school.

Have a college admissions officer do an electronic Information session through Zoom video. I can pull together my School Match 4U students and my KIPP students who are interested in a college or university. The AO can be in their hotel room, office or at home and they can speak to a group of applicants. I generally make sure the applicants are competitive applicants for the school unless the school prefers to speak to a broader audience.
