Program Description

This program is designed for freshman or sophomore students attending selected high schools, who meet federal income guidelines, who need academic assistance to graduate high school and pass AIMS and whose parents have not graduated from a four-year university.

If you are accepted into Upward Bound, you will participate in the program for the remainder of your high school career and the first two years of college. The Upward Bound program offers the following:

    • Parent workshops
    • Financial aid advising
    • Assistance with College admissions application
    • College classes
    • Scholarship searches
    • College campus visits
