Mesabi Range College - True North Upward Bound

Program Description

Upward Bound (UB) is located at Mesabi Range College, and provides support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their high school performance and ultimately in their post-secondary pursuits. The program provides services to high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelorâ??s degree (4 year degree); and high school students from families who meet federal income guidelines. The goal of the Upward Bound program is to assist participants in the completion of high school and enroll in and graduate from post-secondary institutions. Upward Bound focuses on preparing students for bachelor's degrees in all fields of study.
