Program Description

Link2:DC aims to inform, mentor and connect the young people of DC with a future they may not yet realize. By taking part in our various initiatives, high school students and families will be provided a deeper understanding of how to develop personally and academically to become a strong applicant, student, graduate and professional. Through educational seminars, service and career learning opportunities, beneficial summer work opportunities and financial support provided by Link2:DC, students will be armed with the tools necessary for success over the next 4 years of college and into a strong, viable career.

The initiatives of Link2:DC were strategically developed to serve the needs of the high school and college aged young people of the DC area, providing opportunities for personal education, an enhanced world view, understanding of life as a professional, individual and peer to peer mentorship and opportunities to give back and serve the community from which they came. These programs are directed to the most underserved in our midst, and will provide an avenue to explore a stronger future for themselves, their families and our city.
