Program Description

LINK Unlimited Scholars is on a mission to change the trajectory of high-potential African American youth, through unique programming and opportunities in the classroom and beyond. With educational support, mentors and financial subsidies, LINK provides the necessary backing to help close opportunity gaps and further ensure economic stability for our scholars. This includes:

Academic Enrichment

Providing a strong foundation and support system that helps scholars thrive in academic settings which includes our the summer learning program, an enrichment program that gives scholars a preview of the academic skills required in high school and beyond and lead by instructors with professional credentials.

Mentoring

LINK is recognized as a Gold Star organization as evaluated by MENTOR Illinois. This designation recognizes Illinois-based mentoring programs meeting or exceeding best practices across six program areas. We're the only organization offering one to one mentoring for our scholars.

College & Career Access

Information and guidance to help scholars and parents make informed, economically-sound selections when it comes to College.

Leadership Development

Training and opportunities that build leadership skills and reinforce a strong sense of personal identity, human relations and moral values
