Program Description

Launch U has one primary purpose: To help underserved youth achieve collegiate and career success. Our mentors work directly with motivated scholars on a one-to-one basis to help guide them through all aspects of the college application process and preparation for post-secondary life. By doing so, our mentors provide our scholars with the skills and confidence necessary for their future academic and professional success. Founded in 2005, Launch U's network now includes over 300 young professionals from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, including Finance, Advertising, Marketing, Consulting and Education and from some of the leading firms in the region. Launch Us mentors are drawn to our program because it is extremely flexible and time-efficient but more importantly enables them to provide a major impact in their mentees growth and success.

Success Stories

This year, one of our extremely bright scholars, Elijah, was awarded a full-ride scholarship to attend Northwestern University in the fall! We are so proud of Elijah and all of his accomplishments. Receiving such a prestigious award on such a competitive academic level is a moment that Launch U will forever feel proud and grateful for.
