KIPP Through College: Baltimore

Program Description

KIPP Through College guides students to gain admission to college-preparatory high schools and helps them succeed and stay on the path to four-year colleges. To date KIPP Through College has consisted of a High School Placement Coordinator and an Alumni Solutions Coordinator. The High School Placement Coordinator works extensively with seventh and eighth graders to equip them with the skills they need to succeed in high school, to inform them of their college-preparatory high school options, and to assist students and their families with all aspects of the high school admissions and financial aid application processes. The Alumni Solutions Coordinator advocates for our alumni during their high school careers, tracks their academic progress through high school, provides after-school homework and study assistance, coordinates a weekly tutoring program, and organizes college visits for alums.
