iMentor facilitates mentoring relationships that ensure more students from low-income communities enroll in college and graduate with a degree. In fall of 2015, iMentor Chicago kicked off our inaugural program year at North-Grand High School, where we are serving the full 11th-grade class of 207 students. We received more than 400 mentor applications from interested volunteers, many of whom represent the top firms and businesses in the city, including Salesforce, Morgan Stanley, Citi, Accenture, Chicago Public Schools, and DePaul. We are currently building a waiting list for mentors who would like to join our program in the fall of 2016. With the addition of two new school partners, and more to come in year three and four of programming, iMentor Chicago will scale to serve 2,400+ students annually by 2018. Become a mentor today and help guide a young person on the path to college completion.
